This is a Tiger Stripe Flight Suit made from a relatively late lot of Okinawan Tiger pattern fabric; it is a locally made item that is somewhat different from the K2-B cut. Tiger flight suits are known to have been procured by the U.S. Marine Corps in older lots of the period in Okinawan Tiger fabric and worn by helicopter and other pilots. In those lots, the small pockets were made with YKK zippers and the long front zipper was made with American zippers, but this lot also uses No. 10 YKK zippers in the front. The neck piece is stamped with a number and alphabet like a contract number. The Tiger on this individual has a beautiful pattern with a bright green, yellowish-green color that contrasts beautifully with the black. There is no noticeable staining, but there is a hole on the back that looks as if it has been caught on something. There are scratches from use in places. There are no missing buttons. The overall color has faded, giving the impression of being slightly white, but the color is beautiful. There are patches that have been removed from both collars and the right side of the chest. Tiger flight suits are one of the most popular items, so don't miss out on this opportunity.
