This is an real 1972 U.S. Air Force MA-1, a jacket developed for pilots flying at high altitudes, similar to the B-3 in WWII. In Japanese winters, L-2B jackets can be a bit cold, so if you are looking for a jacket for mid-winter, this MA-1 is perfect for you.

Again, the MA-1 is part of the U.S. Army's medical pilot grouping. Therefore, the name and medical flight insignia are sewn on the chest. The knit on both sleeves is damaged and needs to be repaired, and the knit on the waist is also showing signs of use. The knit around the neck is undamaged. Overall, the garment shows signs of use, but is not heavily soiled. The rescue orange lining is also clean. The pockets are a later model with flaps. It is still in good condition to be enjoyed. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
