This Tiger Stripe Pants is a late war pattern. Many Tiger Stripes are made in Japan, but this is one of the Tiger Stripe Patterns whose production country was moved to Korea when the U.S. military started to rearrange and bid for orders from Japan and Okinawa limited areas by bidding at the end of the Vietnam War, adding Korea, Taiwan, and the Philippines as well. As can be seen from the fact that it is called "lightweight," it is a thin, lightweight, and comfortable tiger stripe. While most of them come in small sizes, this one comes in a larger size, US-M. The Tiger Stripe pattern is a relatively rough pattern, whereas the Japanese version has a very detailed pattern printed on it. Some of the patterns are taken from past Tiger patterns, but the finish is unique. The Late War pattern has an Asian cut, depending on the size, but there is no feature that can only be found in the US cut of other Japanese-made Tiger stripes, and the pattern is classified only by the size stamp. Another feature of the Late War pattern is that there are some differences due to the change of country of production. This lightweight fabric has been incorporated into fabrics produced later, and lightweight fabrics actually exist in some of the Okinawan Tiger and Silver Tiger pattern fabrics made in Japan.
