This is an L2-B flight jacket from an early 1960s lot. This lot is probably from around 1961 or 1962, and is a lot that retains the characteristics of the L2-B from the 1950s, but has just been improved to what is commonly known as a flight jacket, with a sage green color and rescue orange lining, and then the epaulettes are gone, and the pocket flaps are gone until the early 70s. This is a very rare L2-B flight jacket that still retains the look and feel of the 50's. Unfortunately, this lot is damaged by ribbing.

Unfortunately, this lot has damaged ribs and will need to be repaired. Spare sleeve ribs will be provided. The ribs around the waist and neck are not noticeably damaged but show signs of use. The zipper that fastens the front is damaged and has no slider. The entire zipper will need to be replaced. This item is for people who wear it without closing the front or who can repair the zipper. This is a great deal for those who want to distinguish themselves from lots from the late 60's onward. Because it is a used item, it cannot be returned. Please understand.
