This is an extremely realistic item that is estimated to have been actually worn in the Vietnam War battlefields. This is a Korean military camouflage shirt manufactured in the late 1960s to early 1970s with an embroidered patch of U.S. NAVAL FORCES VIETNAM (U.S. Navy Vietnam Command) sewn on it, which is believed to have been locally procured and used in the war. This is a privately procured camouflage shirt typical of the Vietnam War.

During the Vietnam War, the U.S. military (especially advisors and Navy personnel) procured and used locally available camouflage clothing and equipment as needed. This piece is another unique actual item with a deep sense of history, as it is extremely likely that U.S. Navy personnel obtained and wore Korean military camouflage shirts in the war zone.

The shirt itself is a unique spot camouflage pattern that was used by the Korean military in the 1960s and 1970s. The fabric is a slightly thicker cotton-based material with a structure that balances breathability and strength. The buttons and sewing are the same as in those days, and the hem and sleeves show signs of fraying, fading, and fraying that tell the story of actual combat use.

An embroidered patch of U.S. NAVAL FORCES VIETNAM is attached to the right sleeve. This unit functioned as the U.S. Navy's combat and support component headquarters during the Vietnam War, overseeing the Seabees (Navy Corps of Engineers), advisor units, and other units. Therefore, this shirt may have been worn not only by those engaged in combat missions, but also by naval engineers and support personnel engaged in facility construction and infrastructure support in the war zone.
