In the first half of the 1960s, the Beogum camouflage was the mainstream, but then the Tiger Stripe camouflage appeared around 1965, and for a time the Beogum camouflage and Tiger camouflage were used together. It can be said that both camouflages are representative of the operations led by the Green Berets against the CIDG and the local South Vietnamese minority groups.
