The M-51 Field Parka, one of the U.S. military's most famous pieces, was created in 1951 to protect soldiers fighting in the extremely cold regions of the Korean War from the cold. This model is a full set of its original body and pile liner made in the 1950s.

The shell is a SMALL size and the liner is a Medium size (hand-drawn), but it fits well without any major discomfort in actual wear. The padded pile liner provides extremely high thermal protection, and the combination with the lightweight cotton nylon shell is a highly finished layering construction that looks great now.

The overall appearance of this vintage-inspired garment has a real sense of use and "taste" that has been condensed through fading, scuffing, and biting due to age. There are also some repairs to the lower right hem where the fabric has been replaced, as well as some missing or replaced buttons inside.

The metal zipper on the front is original and works smoothly. The original brown buttons remain, which is also a high point of the specification aspect. This is a gem that is valuable not only as a fashion item, but also as a military archive item. As the prototype of the mod coat, it is a piece that will be etched in fashion history.

Because it is a used item, returns are not possible. Please understand.
