This is a real original N-2A flight jacket adopted by the U.S. Air Force (USAF) in the mid-1950s. Among the many U.S. military nylon flight jackets, this is a rare model that was only produced for a short period of time, and very few of these jackets are still in existence. The beautiful Air Force blue and USAF decals remain on this rare jacket. The size is also X-Large.

This N-2A is a parka-type jacket designed as a winter model for the heavy zone (-10 to -30℃). It features a one-piece hood and real fur trim that gives it a strong presence, and is designed for missions in harsh cold weather. The large hood that can be partitioned from the center, aimed at improving usability in a narrow cabin, is useful not only for airplanes but also for everyday use.

This product is manufactured by C.H. MASLAND & SONS, and the zipper is equipped with a brass zipper made by CONMAR. Of course, it is movable. The "MIL-J-6278" and "Drawing No. 51B3556" on the tag confirm the authenticity of the N-2A. Details such as the utility pocket on the left sleeve, rib knit, and front pocket with snaps are all in accordance with the specifications of the period.

The condition is overall feeling of use. There are insect bites and damage to the ribs on the sleeves and hem, but there are no critical tears and the zippers work well. The front flap and nylon shell are still in good wearable condition, although there are some scuffs. Recommended for those who want to enjoy vintage realism. And it is a size large!

Its rarity, the history of Air Force equipment in the early Cold War period, and its powerful design--it is truly a "wearable document.
