This is a popular tropical clothing adopted by the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Jungle Fatigue Jacket/ERDL camouflage, early non-rip model is now in stock. It is the largest size, SMALL-LONG. It is a very valuable dead stock item.

This jacket uses the "ERDL camouflage" which was introduced around 1966-67 by the U.S. Army Natick ERDL (Engineer Research and Development Laboratory). The green-toned "Green Leaf Pattern," which later became the prototype for the M81 Woodland camouflage, was initially used on a limited basis by the Marine Corps, Air Force, and Special Forces.

In addition, this item is an earlier model that uses a lightweight poplin (100% cotton) fabric, commonly known as non-rip fabric, instead of ripstop. It has excellent breathability and is optimized for the wet jungle environment. The print pattern has a clear outline, which is one of the rarest and most popular patterns.

It is in very beautiful condition with some stains from storage, but retains its original manufacturing coloring. It is in a condition to be enjoyed for years to come.
