An early ERDL-pattern jungle fatigue jacket. Like the previous item, this is a rare piece from the early Vietnam War era, made from poplin fabric predating the introduction of ripstop. The size is estimated to be S–R.

The first thing that catches the eye is, of course, the distinctive print unique to early ERDL. While retaining the crisp, sharply defined pattern, this particular jacket has developed a natural fade from wear, resulting in a softer, more subdued tone. Its charm lies in the deep, vintage charactera look distinct from the vividness of a brand-new piece.

The fabric is non-ripstop poplin. It is lightweight yet has a firm structure, and the texture developed through wear makes this a truly one-of-a-kind piece. It evokes the sense of having been used in the field.

Although both the size tag and contract tag are missing, the details, fabric, and print characteristics indicate that this is an early ERDL piece from around 1966–67.

Overall, it shows signs of use, with some fading and minor scuffs, but the overall vibe is excellent. It features authentic aging, making it a piece you can enjoy not only as a collector’s item but also for practical use. Even among early ERDLs, it’s rare to find a piece that has faded with such a great vibe. In contrast to the vibrant piece from our previous listing, this is a charming piece that lets you enjoy a “matured ERDL.”

Please note that this is a used item and cannot be returned.
