These are very early jungle boots contracted in 1964, and are called the 2nd model jungle boots. The sole is a Vibram sole, which was the first sole to be used. Black leather boots were the mainstream during the same period, but they were difficult to dry when used in swampy areas, and water that accumulated inside the boots could not be drained, which caused problems when walking. The nylon material, leather, and two holes for drainage are all features that were used in the boots of the U.S. Army after the Vietnam War, making these boots very valuable historically.

The boots were simplified when the U.S. military intervened in the Vietnam War in earnest from around 1968, and the soles were also updated, but the boots from the early 1960s are very valuable because of the background that they were preferentially deployed to some Green Beret soldiers and special forces.

The leather on these boots is peeling and damaged, but there is no damage that would make them difficult to wear. The leather has deteriorated over time and should be treated with oil if worn. The leather may be torn or damaged when worn, so this item is suitable for those who are able to maintain it. The rubber sole is also expected to deteriorate, so we recommend that you check it thoroughly before use. This is a very valuable item. Because it is used goods, returns are not possible. Please understand.
