A historical military piece that carries the memory of the Portuguese Colonial War to the present day.
These are actual Portuguese military lizard camo cargo pants used from the late 1960s to the early 1970s.

The tag reads "OFICINAS GERAIS DE FARDAMENTO (General Directorate of Equipment Factory)," which is a notation found on items manufactured at state-run munitions factories from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. The year of manufacture is estimated to be approximately 1968-1973.

The camouflage is a unique pattern called "Lizard camouflage," influenced by the French TAP47/56, but with a unique Portuguese arrangement. This camouflage was designed to be optimized for combat in jungle areas, such as the guerrilla warfare that Portugal deployed in its African colonies (Angola, Mozambique, and Guinea-Bissau).

The fabric is cotton, lightweight and breathable for extended periods of time. Functional details are found throughout, including the knee and hem construction and large cargo pockets on both legs. There are also remnants of drawcords at the hems, suggesting that they were also designed for boot twinning.

Overall, there is a sense of use and fading, and the realistic aging process creates a unique vintage flavor, but there is no noticeable damage, and the condition is in a good category. The actual item that may have been worn in the battlefield is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain in recent years, and this piece is truly a "living document".

This is a highly collectible piece of clothing that is imbued with the atmosphere of history and the battlefield, and we invite you to take advantage of this opportunity.

This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
