This is a used U.S. Marine Corps P-53HBT uniform that was used for 5 years from 1953 to 1958, the last of the P-42 and P-44 series, and shares the same cut as the P-56 cotton uniforms that followed. The Marine Corps is famous for wearing different uniforms from the Army because they develop their own equipment, but this is a utility uniform that has undergone a particularly distinctive evolution. This is a valuable last HBT combat uniform used during a part of the Korean War toward the Vietnam War.

The overall color is faded and it is in Used condition with some signs of use. There are no missing buttons. There is a pin mark on the collar where the rank insignia was attached. The owner's name is handwritten. It has a sense of use, but is still in good working condition. Because it is a used item, it cannot be returned. Please understand.
