The M43 Field Jacket, a masterpiece widely used by the U.S. Army from World War II to the Korean War period, is now in stock. Featuring olive green cotton satin fabric and a functional four-pocket design, it was the latest field equipment of the time, suitable for extreme cold and diverse battlefield environments.

The most attractive feature of this item is the unit's custom paint job, which is beautifully rendered on the back of the jacket. The Indian head emblem symbolizing the "2nd Infantry Division" and the words "Fort Lewis (now Joint Base Lewis-McChord)" indicating where the soldier is assigned are hand-painted, giving the soldier a sense of pride and belonging. The back of the divisional emblem is decorated with two Dingle Street. Also, two pistols on the back of the divisional insignia indicate that they were procured by MP soldiers. It is thought to have been painted after the war as a commemorative or PX custom, and is a valuable piece that gives a sense of the background of the same era.

It has slight signs of use associated with its age, but overall it is in very good condition and has high collection value. As a vintage military jacket that is both decorative and practical, it adds a powerful accent to contemporary fashion.
