We are pleased to announce the arrival of an anorak parka of great historical value, designed for the German Army Mountain Troops (Gebirgsjäger), who engaged in grueling mountain warfare during World War II. The mountain troops were an elite and very popular unit at the time.

This piece of rare equipment was also designed for disguise in snowfields and other mountainous terrain. In addition to the distinctive pull-over front construction, the large flap pockets, waist adjustment with drawcord, and hooded design to keep out the wind and rain are all highly functional features that are common to modern outdoor wear. It is made oversized to be worn over combat gear and is constructed of lightweight fabric for easy portability.

The entire garment is constructed of a lightweight, thin cotton or rayon blend that maintains a comfortable feel even under hard conditions. The more you wear this material, the more it adapts to your body, and the more you can enjoy its change over time. The fabric has some browning (tanning) from use in the war zone, but there are no tears or fatal stains, and it is in very good condition for an item of its time that is nearly 80 years old. The overall condition is not pure white due to age, but rather tan with a slightly brownish appearance. There are no noticeable stains, scratches, or repairs.

This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
