This is a Original John Wayne Dens pattern(JWD) tiger stripe boonie hat. It is a small sized hat, probably sewn for local CIDG personnel. The condition is very good, with little or no fading. Given the lack of color fading, it is probably unused. It is part of a release from a former Special Forces member, so perhaps he brought home a boonie that was left over in the area as a souvenir. The size is very small, 55-56. This is a very rare piece of Tiger Stripe boonie that is very clean and in its original condition.
